Here’s something you may not know about me: In 2009, I was chosen by President Obama to serve as the NASA Chief of Staff. It was an honor to work alongside him.
 
Working at NASA over 15 years ago was nothing like what we see in Congress today. When we stepped into the building, self-interest and party politics went out the door. Our work demanded that we put our differences aside to move the country forward, united.

That’s missing in Congress today.

Folks are too focused on generating online clicks and cash to advance their own careers than actually think about the long term future of our nation.
