Just about a week ago, I was in Bucks County, Pennsylvania knocking doors with our candidate, Tim Hayes, who’s in a must-win seat.
Tim had a list of 53 Republican voters’ doors for us to knock together, and I was shocked by how it went. Not one of the people whose doors we knocked on shut the door in our face (which is a rare experience when canvassing in even the most liberal of neighborhoods!). In fact, nearly all of the historically Republican voters we talked to expressed how disappointed they were with Trump. One of them even said they’re so fed up with the way things are, they’re voting straight Democrat on Election Day.
That experience in Bucks County gave me the energy, hope, and perspective to take on this final sprint to Election Day.
That’s why I couldn’t be more excited to announce that with our full candidate slate locked in for the midterms, we’re entering the final, decisive phase of our mission this cycle: flipping red seats blue and breaking the GOP’s grip on power.
To make sure we can go all in for our candidates, we’re launching a Red-to-Blue Fund that will ensure our candidates have the resources they need to compete against the GOP and win.

These are the races that will break GOP supermajorities, flip state legislatures, and decide control of the House and Senate.
This is a must-win election year. And the truth is, our best shot at flipping these seats isn’t by playing it safe. Protecting the status quo is exactly what fed the disillusionment that has driven an entire generation of young voters to despair.
Our work is the solution to that disillusionment. We have to go all in on bold leaders who will actually center working-class priorities and offer a vision for the future that sparks hope, not apathy or fear.
