GOD'S CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE

Imagine you're eight years old, and you just lost your mom. 

You were taken across the border by the very man who was supposed to keep you safe.

You're taken away from everyone who loves you.

That was Jeanie. 

For five years, her own stepfather trafficked her. 

This makes me sick, and I imagine it does the same for you. 

Her sister never stopped searching. The FBI had a case open. But once Jeanie was taken to Mexico, she seemed impossible to find. 

Then one night, Jeanie found her moment. 

She quietly used her stepfather's phone and typed the words: "Help me," her location, and a warning to her sister not to respond so her stepfather wouldn't see the message. 

Friend, can you imagine the courage that took?

When a Sound of Freedom Foundation partner was notified about the message, they had one small window before she'd be gone again. 

The team drove through the night, thirteen hours into cartel-controlled territory. At daybreak, they found her and got her out safely.  

Her first request once she was safe? 

Pizza. 

She hadn't had it in years. 

Today, Jeanie is safe, healing, and thriving in a loving adoptive family. 

My name is Eduardo Verástegui. I produced the film Sound of Freedom, and for me, I thought it would be the finish line. 

It wasn't. 

The film was only the beginning. 

I heard stories like Jeanie's, and I could not walk away. This is why the Sound of Freedom Foundation exists. 

Because the stories didn't stop when the credits rolled. 

The Sound of Freedom Foundation has one mission: 

To stop the sale of God's children.

We fund the investigators who find trafficked children, the hotlines that answer the call, and the safe homes waiting when a child is finally rescued.
