In June, I officially won the primary here in NY-01 to be your Democratic nominee for Congress.
In a minute, I’m going to tell you more about my top priorities and why I think I can deliver on them if you send me to Congress, but first I need to make an ask. Now that the primary is over, we are full steam ahead towards the general election – which will be a whole new challenge.
To prove that we have the momentum we need to win this race, we’re gathering grassroots support. Would you commit to vote in November? We need to work together if we're going to flip this seat.
I’m running for Congress on six major principles.
- Lower the cost of living so Long Island families can stay here, raise their children here, and give the next generation a real chance to buy a home in the communities they grew up in.
- Prepare Long Island for the future by fortifying our community against extreme weather, and modernizing critical infrastructure.
- Protect Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, and provide affordable health care. Long Islanders have worked hard and paid into these programs, so I will work hard to protect them, period.
- Support veterans and military families with faster access to care, stronger mental health services, real housing support, and a Northport VA that finally lives up to what those who served this country deserve.
- Support labor and working families by fighting for wages, protections and opportunities that Long Island’s working people have earned, and build an economy where a union card still means a path to the middle class.
- Restore trust in government by bringing transparency, accountability, and integrity back to Washington.
We deserve someone in Congress with ideas, integrity, and the drive to back them up, and I have spent my career doing that – but I need your help to get me to Washington. Would you add your name to commit to vote in November?
