John, this is Ronda Cress. You hear from Mary regularly, but I wanted to drop you a note so you could get to know me a bit better as well.

I’m proud to be Mary’s wife, and to have co‑founded Transcend PAC with her earlier this year. Before that, I spent over two decades as a civil rights attorney.

Here’s what that work taught me: Our rights can only endure if the people we put in charge enforce and defend them.

That is why Mary and I started Transcend PAC. Rather than waiting for somebody else to step up, we are funding the candidates who will be responsible for restoring and strengthening these protections for the future, and the decisions that determine whether they can run competitive campaigns are being made now.

We are less than three months from Election Day. The House is genuinely winnable, and the path to a Democratic Senate is real. What we do between August and November is what makes all of it possible.
