Folks,
If we actually want to build a state government that’s going to work for the people of Alabama, we’re going to have to do a whole lot more than just win the governor’s office. With the way things are set up in Alabama right now, real change will be difficult. Too many people in power go unchecked because they run unopposed year after year, not to mention the pushback from the big money interests who want to keep things just the way they are. So the bottom line is this: I’ll need some help.
That’s why I’m proud to be running alongside a wonderful slate of candidates on our Ticket for Change. From lieutenant governor, to state auditor, to attorney general, we are fielding candidates who are ready to shake up Montgomery and make our state government work for the people of Alabama again.
But with less than two months until election day, we are running out of time to win these races. So today, I’m asking you to support my dear friend Violet Edwards in her race for State Auditor.

Smaller statewide races work a lot differently from the governor’s race. They operate on much smaller budgets, which means every contribution goes a lot further. Violet is running for State Auditor. She’s an incredible Madison County Commissioner who has a proven record of managing public resources and guiding investments in our communities.
Violet has the perfect all-around background for State Auditor. She got her start as a journalist in radio and television news before moving into community leadership and public service. Since then, she has overseen county departments, managed public resources, and helped guide investments in workforce development, senior services, food access, and community infrastructure.
She’s seen it all, and she’s ready to bring transparency, accountability, and integrity back to Montgomery. As State Auditor, she will work every day to make sure every state dollar is accurately accounted for and responsibly managed.
