Friends,
The wildfires burning in Washington, Oregon, and California are devastating the west coast.
In Washington, more acres were burned in a single day than in the past 12 fire seasons.
2.3 million acres have already burned this year in California.
Oregon’s Governor warned that the state could see the greatest loss of property and human life in the state’s history.
This is not a coincidence. The climate crisis is real, and too many politicians have ignored it for too long. Sign on and demand immediate action from our nation’s top leaders to aggressively combat the climate crisis » [[link removed]]
From record breaking heat waves, to back to back deadly hurricanes, to all three states on the western coast of the country battling wildfires — there is not a single state that has not been deeply impacted by the climate crisis.
The millions of residents impacted by these extreme weather occurrences do not take the climate crisis lightly.
Neither should our top leaders.
