Hi friends!

We’re heading into a very busy stretch, so I wanted to give you a quick update on what’s happening out there.

Over the last week, we’ve been knocking doors and putting up yard signs in Winneconne, Fox Crossing, and communities across the district. We've walked in Labor Day parades, have met with local leaders, listening to what they’re seeing and hearing in their communities, and have filled the calendar with many more conversations in the weeks ahead.

And next Tuesday, we’re filming our next campaign commercial.

As we head toward November 3, you’re going to hear a phrase from us a lot:

EXPECT EMILY.

Expect Emily to show up.

Expect Emily to give a damn even when the cameras aren’t around.

Expect Emily to listen to you no matter who you voted for.

Expect Emily to fight for our public schools because every kid counts.

Expect Emily to keep showing up in our small towns, rural communities, neighborhoods, farms, schools, businesses, and community meetings — because representation shouldn’t only happen when there’s an election around the corner.

And this week, I need your help telling that story.

SEND US A 30-SECOND VIDEO

Seriously. Thirty seconds. On your phone. You don't need to be a professional (we've got great apps to do the editing for us).

Open your camera, hit record, and finish this sentence:

“I’m ______ from ______. I’ve seen Emily ______. That’s why I expect Emily to ______.”

That’s it.

Maybe you’ve seen me show up for your community. Maybe we met on your front porch. Maybe we worked together on an issue long before I was running for this office. Maybe you’ve watched me listen to someone I disagree with, help organize something that needed doing, or simply keep coming back.

Tell that story.

No editing. No fancy lighting. Don't write a speech. If you stumble over a word, keep going. We want this to look and sound like the actual people who have been part of this work.

Then email the video to [email protected] or DM it to us.

Please include your name and community.

By submitting your video, you’re giving Emily Tseffos for Wisconsin permission to edit, share, and use your video, name, image, and voice in campaign communications, including social media, digital advertising, our website, email, and other campaign materials through Election Day. Please only submit a video of yourself; if you’re under 18, have a parent or guardian contact us first.

That’s your homework this week. Thirty seconds. Hit record. Send it.

And if somebody immediately came to mind while you were reading this, forward this email to them.

COME KNOCK SOME DOORS WITH US!

HELP US REACH MORE NEIGHBORS

If knocking doors isn’t your thing, there’s another very practical way to help.

Every contribution helps us reach more people across this district — through signs, mail, digital outreach, and the other basic costs of getting our message in front of voters.

If you’re able to chip in, you can donate here:

There’s a lot of ground to cover between now and November 3.

So we’re going to keep doing what we’ve been doing... showing up.

At doors, at community meetings, in small towns and expansive subdivisions. With local leaders, business owners, farmers, and parents. With people who agree with me and people who don’t.

Not just when the cameras are around.

Not just when it’s convenient.

Expect Emily.

— Emily
