Hey John, it’s Hannah.

This Tuesday, September 15th, is our next official Maine fundraising deadline where we’ll have to publicly report all of our fundraising numbers. I know you hear from us quite a bit around these deadlines, but I promise there’s a good reason – they’re important!

This is the first reporting deadline of the final sprint to Election Day, and the numbers we report will give opponents, the media, and others closely watching this race an indication of where our campaign stands.

But what I’m even more concerned about is reaching our fundraising goals because if we don’t, it means we reach fewer voters.

We know what's at stake, and we know this race won't be easy. Maine hasn’t elected two governors in a row from the same party since the 1950s, and outside groups are spending big in Maine right now.

That's why we're leaving nothing to chance in this must-win race, because the stakes are simply too high not to. The Trump administration is mounting full-scale attacks on our neighbors, our rights, our health care and education programs, and the future of our planet.

This campaign has always been about fixing our housing crisis so young people can afford to stay in Maine, ensuring everyone — no matter where they live — has access to quality health care we can afford, and building a bright future for our kids.

It’s been about standing up against the Trump administration while his reckless wars and economic choices make life harder for Mainers.

And now, it’s about winning this race to ensure Maine’s next governor is a fighter who will take our state forward, not backward.

At a time when the stakes for Maine and the nation have never been higher, I’m running for governor to be that fighter and deliver a brighter future for all Mainers.

Maine needs a leader who can meet this moment, and I'm ready to lead from day one. That’s why I’m counting on your support today. Grassroots support has been the greatest strength of this campaign, and we need all hands on deck to keep building our momentum all the way through November. We have less than eight weeks to go until Election Day, and we’re not slowing down.

If you’re on board, please give $10 or a donation of any amount that makes sense for you today. It would mean a lot not just to me but more importantly, our ability to win this race for Maine. Every dollar puts us one step closer to victory — whether it’s $10, or more.

If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process now.
