TEAM CLINE UPDATE
Newsletter from the Campaign of Congressman Ben Cline
It was a busy stretch on the trail. Ben spent late August and early September across Virginia’s 6th District – fairs, festivals, GOP gatherings, and a small-business debate – meeting neighbors and staying focused on the priorities of the Shenandoah Valley. Here’s a look back at where we’ve been.
In Washington
Ben kept the focus on putting Americans first. While Democrats keep steering taxpayer dollars toward illegal immigrants, Republicans are closing that door – including an administration move to end refundable tax credits for illegal migrants, a change estimated to save taxpayers about $3 billion. Ben has been clear that Virginia cannot keep absorbing the cost of sanctuary policies, and that communities in the 6th District must come first.
Remembering 9/11
Yesterday marked 25 years since the morning that changed our country. Nearly 3,000 innocent people went to work, boarded a plane, or reported for duty and never came home. Firefighters, police officers, and ordinary Americans ran toward the fire. In the years since, a generation of service members — including many from the Valley — carried that fight across the world so it would not come here again. We remember the names. We remember the families still living with the empty chair. And we honor the men and women who still put on the uniform, because the best tribute we can offer is not a moment of silence we forget by afternoon — it is a country that stays strong, grateful, and unwilling to look away.
NEW AD: Common Sense vs. Crazy
This week the campaign launched a new ad drawing a clear line in Virginia’s 6th District: common sense versus the extreme agenda Ben’s opponent represents. The spot highlights Ben’s record of cutting taxes, backing law enforcement, and putting Virginia families first — and asks voters to reject the radical alternative this November. Watch it, share it, and help put it in front of more neighbors before Election Day.
