The Fall Charge Conferences will be held in October with the Zoom options on October 11th and the In-Person on October 25th at Grace UMC in Springfield. The forms have been released in the People Portal and will be due by September 15th.

The sign ups for the SW district Charge Conferences are available online at the this link. Please register for the choice that works best for your church. These will be group charge conferences again, so please be sure to have your church paperwork available for folks to review. We will not be printing individual packets for you. Soul Connections Journey to Iona Pilgrimage – July 20-25, 2027
The Iona Pilgrimage is a five-day retreat that includes worship with the local community, guided times of learning and connection and generous space to wander, pray, and explore the island at your own pace. Missouri PAUMCS offers experiences to improve the professional and personal development of church personnel and increase the effectiveness of local church ministries. Office ministry is the key that opens many doors to enhance the overall ministry of the church and its organizations. Our Chapter provides opportunities for networking and continuing education through our monthly Brown Bag Learning lunches and Fall Conference.

Pathways United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Church Secretary / Ministry Assistant, approximately 10 hours per week, Tuesday–Friday (exact schedule flexible and negotiable) to support our church office and ministry team. This role handles administrative tasks—phones, correspondence, bulletins, records, and scheduling—while also assisting the pastor with ministry tasks and event/volunteer logistics.
This position requires a person with strong skills in computer applications, organizational and communication skills, and to be proactive and creative. We're looking for someone with a heart for ministry.
