There’s no question about it, Michigan families are getting hit
hard, John.

Michiganders are getting squeezed at the gas pump, at the grocery
checkout, and in their utility bills, and Trump’s chaotic, reckless
tariffs are only making it worse.

In Congress, our opponent, John James, had the chance to bring costs down.

What did he do instead?

He enthusiastically voted to support Trump’s tariff war. John James had a
chance to stand up for Michigan families, workers, and small businesses.
Instead, he rubber-stamped Trump’s agenda.

And what does John James say now that Trump’s 50% tariffs on Canada —
Michigan’s largest trading partner — are taking effect?

Not a single word, and that silence matters.

Let’s just call this what it is: the John James tax on your small
business, your gas, and your groceries.

He’s more than eager to follow Trump’s every wish, and now
Michiganders are paying
the price.

Look, we know John James is the worst possible choice for Michigan, but
Republicans are ready to spend whatever it takes to blast distorted
versions of his record on every channel and attack Jocelyn.

This is one of the most competitive gubernatorial elections in the country
— in a state that Donald Trump won twice — we can’t afford to be drowned
out.
