So let me explain a little more about why I’m asking right now.

Team, I’m Madeleine Dean. I’m a mother, grandmother, professor, lawyer, and advocate representing Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District.

I grew up in Glenside — the youngest of Bob and Mary Dean’s seven children. We sat around the dinner table and debated everything.

We were taught to speak up. To defend what we believed. And, just as importantly, to listen — really listen.

That’s how I approach my work in Congress. I don’t believe in sitting quietly as our democracy is under threat. Like you, I stand up, speak out, and fight like hell for the freedoms, rights, and the Pennsylvania families I’m honored to represent.

But Republicans don’t seem to share that same commitment. Under their total control of the federal government, they’ve attacked the guardrails of our democracy, undermined our institutions and the rule of law — and threatened the very foundations of our country.

No time for complacency. We must work harder than ever in these final few weeks before the election to flip the House and take back power.

That work starts right here. Control of the House runs straight through Pennsylvania — and Donald Trump is sitting on a $300 million war chest designed to overwhelm battleground states like ours.
