While the polling shows Democrats are behind, there’s some reassuring news as well:

• The 2-point deficit is well within the margin of error
• Over 9% of respondents are still undecided
• El-Sayed’s favorability rating is over 6 POINTS HIGHER than Rogers’ (and his net favorability is higher as well)
• Among respondents who said they would definitely vote, the race is a tie: 37-37.

We’ve seen the damage Trump and Senate Republicans have done since they retook power. The stakes are too high to give up now.
