Hi John,

With less than eight weeks to go until Election Day, things are moving fast and there’s a lot of noise. You’ve heard a lot about what I’ve been doing to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot. So I’d like to slow down for a second and tell you about myself and my values and tell you why I continue to fight every day.

I’ve dedicated my career to serving my community, protecting our democracy, and advocating for children and families.

That’s what’s at the heart of everything I do in Washington. But I’ve been doing this work long before I got to Congress.

I started representing abused and neglected children when I was still in law school. 

I fought for the rights of students with disabilities and for better public schools. 

I took on voter suppression and gerrymandering as a pro bono leader.

I led civics programs in my children's schools.

I became president of my local school board and proved that grassroots movements can make real change.

Now I’m going toe to toe with MAGA and defending our freedoms, our communities, and our families in Congress.

My values are Pennsylvania values. I’ve spent my whole career standing up for them, but none of the work I do now is possible without grassroots support.

You have been a tremendous supporter of my campaign, and for that I’m extremely grateful. I know I’ve asked for your support before. I am going to continue to ask for your support because I want to keep the fight up and make sure we’re taking more Democrats with me to Washington to fight for us.
