An Invitation to Join Hall of Giants

How grateful are you for air conditioning this summer?
If you live anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon line, I already know the answer. Imagine August without it. Imagine trying to work, sleep, or simply think straight in ninety-eight degrees and rising humidity, day after day, with no relief in sight.
For most of human history, that wasn’t imagination. It was a normal July.
Here’s a sobering fact:
Tens of thousands of heat-related deaths occur every year across Europe, where air conditioning still isn’t the norm.
Even here in the United States, where it’s far more common, we still lose an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 Americans a year to heat exposure. Multiply that risk across a century, across a planet, and you start to understand the scale of what one man’s invention actually did for humanity.
Lee Kuan Yew, the founder of modern Singapore, understood it better than almost anyone.
“Air conditioning. […] It changed the nature of civilization by making development possible in the tropics. Without air conditioning, you can work only in the cool early-morning hours or at dusk. The first thing I did upon becoming prime minister was to install air conditioners in buildings where the civil service worked. This was key to public efficiency.”
Think about that. The man who built one of the wealthiest nations on Earth from a swampy port city credited a single invention as the key to it all.
That invention was made by Willis Carrier. 
Willis Carrier didn’t just make us more comfortable by inventing air conditioning. He moved civilization forward.
So here’s a question worth sitting with . . .
Why isn’t there a statue of Willis Carrier in every city he made livable?
Why do most Americans not even know his name?
That has to change.
And it’s exactly why I am establishing the Hall of Giants.
We’re building a new museum, but “museum” undersells it.
Hall of Giants is a Disney-caliber, entertainment-first experience dedicated to the entrepreneurs, inventors, and risk-takers who built this country: the household names like Franklin, Carnegie, and Musk, and the local giants whose contributions never made the history books but mattered just as much to the communities they built.
Without people like Willis Carrier, our lives would be almost unrecognizably harder. Without the next generation of entrepreneurs, our future will be too – unless we give them a reason to believe they can be one.
We’re raising $1,000,000 this year, and I’m personally inviting you to be one of its founding donors.

A New Kind of Museum
This isn’t a wing of static plaques and dusty display cases. Picture stepping into the sweltering, humid Brooklyn printing plant of 1902, watching Carrier’s invention take shape, and walking out into a cool, air-conditioned gallery that traces the ripple effects of his idea across a century – from the tropics to the server farm to your living room this afternoon.
Picture riding from a garage workshop to the floor of the Nasdaq, from the person with an axe to the person building the machine, immersed the entire way.
This is closer to a theme park than a textbook: interactive, cinematic, and built to leave you inspired, not lectured to.
That’s the feeling we’re chasing: we want a visitor to walk out, get in their car, and think – who made this air conditioner? Who made this phone charger? – and then think, maybe I could build something too.
