Stop the Dog Meat Trade: LCA has formed a sister organization in S. Korea, Animal Liberation Wave (ALW), with one mission in mind – to end the dog meat trade. This can only be accomplished with S. Korean citizens demanding change at the government level. With “boots-on-the-ground” in Korea, LCA and ALW are in a position to affect real change. Click for more info.
Saving Mountain Gorillas: LCA continues to support Virunga National Park's AirWing program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The AirWing program is the best line of defense Virunga and the Rangers have at protecting the park and its inhabitants, including the endangered mountain gorillas. Click for more info.
Exposing Animal Cruelty: The Sam Simon Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is the investigative arm of LCA. For over 35 years, the SIU team has gone undercover and exposed the suffering of animals in research facilities, puppy mill farms and live animal circuses, to name just a few. Click for more info.
