: [link removed] Indigenous Environmental Network has just launched the THRIVE : [link removed] agenda, a bold economic renewal plan that puts millions of people back to work building a just, healthy, and equitable society. We launch this agenda alongside activists, advocates and a wide array of organizations including the American Federation of Teachers, Center for American Progress, Climate Justice Alliance, Color of Change, Communications Workers of America, Green New Deal Network, Movement for Black Lives, People’s Action, Sierra Club, United We Dream, and over 150 other advocacy groups representing thousands of frontline voices.

As Indigenous peoples, we know the crises we’re facing are related, so the solutions have to be as well. At a time of national reckoning with centuries of racist policies, treaty violations, , a global pandemic, and an ongoing climate crisis, we need a bold and forward-looking agenda.

Built on eight pillars (add messaging doc) —  which include strengthening Indigenous sovereignty and our treaties to creating millions of just transition jobs while averting climate catastrophe to investing in Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities — THRIVE’s top priorities are the families and communities who share the dream of a good life: free from worry about meeting basic needs, with reliable and fulfilling work, and a dignified and healthy standard of living.

We hope you will consider sharing this launch with your networks.

Pleaseuse this toolkit to help share this historic agenda, complete with messaging and graphics for your use. : [link removed]
