Across Africa, many pastors faithfully lead churches, preach God's Word, and disciple others without access to formal theological training. Through African Enterprise's Preliminary Theological Certificate (PTC), pastors receive practical, accessible biblical training that equips them to teach Scripture faithfully and strengthen their churches.

Rev Shane Dirks has been teaching PTC in Rwanda through African Enterprise and has witnessed the impact firsthand.

Your support helps equip these men and women with the biblical knowledge and practical foundation they need to become faithful and effective ministers of the Gospel, impacting churches and communities across Africa.

PTC subjects studied include Biblical Theology, the Old Testament, the New Testament, and Doctrine, which help them to have a deeper understanding of God’s Word.

Another PTC student shared with us:

"I was very impressed seeing that the Bible is one story. It has really strengthened my faith.

Of course, when my faith grows, even the faith of the people I disciple grows."

As pastors are equipped with sound biblical teaching, entire congregations benefit through faithful preaching, discipleship, and leadership. The impact of PTC extends far beyond the classroom. Students tell us they are now better able to answer difficult questions, teach the Bible with clarity, and help people understand God's plan of salvation through Christ.

When a pastor grows in biblical knowledge, churches are strengthened. When churches are strengthened, communities are transformed by the hope of the gospel.
