USO Supporter,
On this day 25 years ago, 2,977 men, women and children lost their lives in a horrific attack on American soil.
In an instant, everything changed. In the hours and days that followed, our nation came together in an extraordinary way. Countless young Americans stepped forward, answering the call to defend our country.
Since September 11, 2001, millions of Americans have answered the call to serve in our nation’s military.
For many, that service came at a cost. Thousands of lives were lost. Thousands more were wounded. And many continue to carry the challenges of service to this day.
On this National Day of Service and Remembrance, we remember those we lost. We honor those who answered the call. And we reaffirm our responsibility to stand with them, not just on this day, but every day.
Thank you for being someone who continues to stand with our service members and their families.
For the People Who Serve,
The USO
P.S. As we remember this day, please consider making a gift to support the men and women who continue to serve. Right now, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.
