Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced a $171 million settlement with Meta. The deal relates to child safety on Instagram and Facebook. It adds new limits and safety tools for young users. It includes time limits, night blocks and stronger age checks. The deal also addresses Meta’s past sharing of user data with third parties.
AG Nessel Releases Flint Water Crisis Report
Attorney General Dana Nessel released a Flint Water Crisis report. The report details the evidence, charges and legal steps in the criminal case. Nine officials faced 42 charges. Michigan Supreme Court released a ruling. The cases were then dismissed.
