My team just showed me a real doozy of a memo from Washington Republicans on our Senate race. Here’s a summary:

1. It starts with GOP operatives saying: “North Carolina will be a knife fight in a phone booth until the end in a state that is going to be the epicenter of the political world.”

2. Then, the memo brags about the $100 million that’s already been reserved for advertising this fall — much of which is targeted directly at our campaign in the closing weeks.

3. Finally, these Washington Republicans pledge to do even more in the final weeks to attack my record and character as they do everything they can to win this election.

This memo is right about one thing: North Carolina’s Senate race will be extremely close. That means everything we do is going to matter, which is why I’m asking you to pitch in to our campaign today:
