This visible hotline could facilitate a victim's safe and secure exit from the life of enslavement, and the next steps to begin a new life journey.

A child, teen, or young adult trapped in trafficking may be searching for a way out. Seeing that number could give them the courage to make one call — a call that could be their first step toward freedom. 

Something as small as a sticker can carry such an important message.

That's also why I believe awareness must lead to action. 

The film Sound of Freedom brought the horror of child trafficking before millions of people. 

But a movie alone cannot end this evil. 

So we created the Sound of Freedom Foundation to carry this mission forward. 

We work to help prevent exploitation, support intervention efforts, educate parents and communities, spread information, and influence policies that protect children. 

And beneath everything we do is one truth I will never stop saying:

Jesus said: 

"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love." (John 15:9) 

Every child has God-given worth. 

Every child deserves protection. 

And every one of us can choose whether we look away or act.
