FINAL REMINDER

Dear Rural Coalition Members,

Join us today, September 11, at 3:00 PM ET for membership and policy updates, program news, and coalition activities.

This is a space to stay connected, learn from one another, and strengthen our collective work to build a society grounded in unity, hope, people, and the land.

On our September 11th call, we will:

1) Share Reflections from September 11, 2001, when we had farmers in town working on the then-2001 Farm Bill, which was pending House Floor Action that week.

2) Provide Updates and Actions on the 2026 Farm Bill, which is pending a final vote for passage in the Senate Agriculture Committee as early as Tuesday, Sept 15. At stake is whether any votes can be changed to ensure that whatever bill finally clears Congress reverses the deep cuts to the SNAP program that are affecting families and communities across the nation. 

English and Spanish interpretation will be provided.
