Today, I attended 9/11 remembrance ceremonies in Lackawanna and Wayne counties as our community marked 25 years since the attacks that changed our country forever.

We gathered to honor the lives lost and the families who endured unimaginable grief. We remembered the first responders and service members who answered the call, many of whom carried lasting burdens in the years that followed.

September 11, 2001 showed us the depth of human courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy. It also reminded us that service means showing up for one another, especially when the path ahead is difficult.

Thank you for taking a moment to remember with me, John. I’m grateful to stand alongside you in honoring this solemn day.
