I’m sure I don’t have to remind you, because we’ve all felt it in our
everyday lives.

Costs are increasing everywhere — at the gas pump, at the grocery store,
leaving Texans with less and less each month.

Everyday necessities should not be taking up an entire paycheck.

Without any checks on power, Greg Abbott has been driving up costs in
Texas for the past 12 years, all while lining his own pockets.

Now, only as his seat is threatened, is Greg Abbott pretending to care
about the affordability crisis he helped create.

Greg Abbott has had 12 years to lower costs, and all we’ve seen is Texas
getting more expensive. Yet now his campaign is promising affordability —
a promise we know he won’t keep.

Texans deserve better than these same broken promises about lowering
costs. I am committed to putting money back in the pockets of hardworking
Texans, but I can’t do it without your help.
