Mark also brings strong operations and management skills from his past career launching and running new restaurants. He has been a Chef, General Manager, and Restaurant Entrepreneur, which equipped him to manage, adapt, teach, learn, and engage the challenges and opportunities of small, medium, and large businesses. We're very excited to see Mark bring his experience and his passion for social justice to bear as the new Executive Director. His years of working in policy and managing complex teams for clear outcomes is just what our organization needs right now We thank Cat Carter for all her hard work and efforts as Interim Executive Director, keeping SFTR on track during a particularly uncertain and difficult period. Cat is working closely with Mark to ensure a smooth transition and will continue her work in Operations and Communications.
