Do you know anyone with a pre-existing condition, friend?

Maybe it's you or maybe it's someone you love who's one of the millions of Americans poised to lose health care if Trump and Republicans get their way.

Republicans have been chomping at the bit for almost a decade to dismantle a health care system that guarantees coverage for those with pre-existing conditions. They have repeatedly tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and Trump even intentionally rolled back funding for its enrollment.

And just yesterday, the GOP began oral arguments in their dangerous lawsuit, Texas v. United States, that would strike down the Affordable Care Act and slash protections for anyone with a pre-existing condition. It's appalling.

We should be expanding health care, not ripping it away. But if the court rules in Republicans' favor, millions of people will lose their health care.

The Affordable Care Act has been narrowly upheld twice by the Supreme Court, but now we have a right-leaning bench with judges appointed by Trump himself. It's never been more important that we kick Trump and his henchmen out of office come 2020, and defend the ACA until then.
