DEEP STATE PROBE CHAOS

Joe diGenova, the prosecutor leading the “grand conspiracy”
investigation, abruptly resigned on Thursday.

Fox News reported that diGenova had lost the confidence of the DOJ and
White House amid frustration over the probe’s pace — a year of
subpoenas, but no charges.

On his way out, he told the New York Post: “If you want indictments
where there’s no evidence, you have an ethical problem.”

The investigation began last year, focusing on the Deep State’s role
in the Trump-Russia Hoax and whether top Obama-era officials — like
then-CIA Director John Brennan — committed crimes when they falsely
targeted Trump.

LINDSAY CLANCY’S HAIL-MARY PLEA

Lindsay Clancy admitted to killing her three children. But now her
lawyer wants a judge to unilaterally declare her innocent.

On Thursday, Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, filed a motion
demanding a judge grant a “required finding of not guilty,”
claiming that “no rational jury” could find Clancy guilty of the
crimes she doesn’t deny committing.

Then, Reddington went on Fox News and attacked the lone holdout juror,
admitting he was “angry” at the juror because of “his refusal to
follow the law.”

But here’s the problem: That juror has said nothing publicly.
Everything about him comes from other jurors. Reddington has zero
proof the holdout juror did anything wrong.

TRUMP’S $5,000 PROMISE

President Trump wants to put more money back in your pocket.

At the Republican midterm convention, Trump announced what he called
the “Trump Dividend”: If Republicans win the midterm elections,
every American adult citizen will receive $5,000.

Immediately, Republican Bernie Moreno said he’ll draft legislation
to codify the “Trump Dividend” — funded not by taxpayers, but by
“market access fees” on foreign goods, and spendable only in the
U.S.

“I will get a bill ready so that we can get the Trump Dividend
passed immediately after the November 3rd election,” Moreno said.

APPEALS COURT SIDES WITH ACTIVIST JUDGE

President Trump’s effort to secure mail-in voting keeps hitting the
same wall.

On Thursday, the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals refused to lift activist
Judge Indira Talwani’s order blocking Trump’s executive order,
which requires mail-in ballots to be checked against verified voter
rolls and the use of a standard ballot envelope.

The Trump administration has already asked the Supreme Court to
intervene. A decision could come any day.

DOJ PUTS ELECTION OFFICIALS ON NOTICE

The Justice Department is done asking nicely.

The DOJ sent letters to at least 30 states ordering election officials
to preserve their 2024 election records. It’s part of a broader push
to force states to comply with the Trump administration’s election
integrity efforts.

The letters bluntly informed state election officials they are
“currently under investigation.”

Dozens of states have refused to comply with election security efforts
— like turning over their voter rolls — leading to multiple
lawsuits from the Trump administration.

But if their rolls are clean, what exactly are they worried about?
