OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

Americans are growing weary of the logjam in American politics. What is even more troubling is the fact that the Republican Party, for example, doesn't even adhere to the tenets of its own platform.

Leaders of the Republican Party love to invoke the name "the Party of Lincoln", while their policies are far to the right of anything that the Official Party of Lincoln stands for.

The Democratic Party has taken America far to the left with the weightiest part of their platform having to do with sexual issues, which should have nothing to do with the federal government.

To be sure, The Official Party of Lincoln, categorically denounces racism in any form.

The Official Party of Lincoln, supports each of our allies around the world. Additionally, we recognize the legitimate need for a strong NATO alliance to counter the aggressive posturing of Russia and Russian satellite nations.

The Official Party of Lincoln, recognizes the constitutional right and obligation of the media in America to report information as each of those organizations sees fit.

The Official Party of Lincoln supports legislation that will mitigate the growing specter of gun violence in America. Those who have the ability to act also have the responsibility to act. Those who fail to act are complicit in the problems that have brought us to this juncture in time.

The Official Party of Lincoln recognizes that our nation is facing a fiscal crisis that requires passage of legislation that balances our budget, eliminates the debt ceiling, and implements sound accounting processes which includes mandatory annual auditing of all US government agencies and contractors.

The Official Party of Lincoln calls for passage of anti-corruption legislation that requires that any candidate for President of the United States, release at least the most recent five years of tax returns, present for a psychological evaluation with an independent medical professional and divest themselves of any and all holdings prior to filing of their candidacy. Anti-corruption legislation should also ban donors of any kind toward any federal campaign. All credible candidates will be awarded the same dollar amount. The onus will then be on that candidate to make their case to the American people.

The people of the United States demand that our representatives represent us and not dark money.
