How is 2026 going so far? It’s already been a productive year for us out here
in Michigan. Hopefully it is where you live too.
This year, America celebrates its 250th anniversary—a milestone unlike any
other in history.
To mark this moment, Hillsdale College is thanking friends who stand for our

Our educational mission is more urgent than ever.
Not long ago, statues of Thomas Jefferson—the author of the Declaration of
Independence—were torn down at schools and universities across the country.
This wasn’t just vandalism. It was a warning.
Too many young Americans no longer understand—or respect—our country’s
founding principles of liberty. Too many young Americans are turning instead to
