There are two names on the ballot for South Dakota's Senate seat: mine, and Mike Rounds'. That's it. It's a straight, one-on-one choice now between a career politician who answers to his party and his corporate donors, or an independent who answers to no one but the people of this state.

And here's where that one-on-one race stands: the latest Impact Research poll has us tied. 44% to 44%.

But a tie in September isn't a win in November. Rounds has millions in the bank and a crypto super PAC ready to spend whatever it takes to pull back ahead. Under two months out, the only thing that keeps us even — and then pushes us in front — is people like you deciding this race is worth it.
