Dear John,

As students return to campus this fall, we remember Charlie Kirk and his vision for the American university.

Charlie believed campuses should be places where ideas are tested, convictions are sharpened, and students have the courage to speak openly. He showed a generation of young Americans that disagreement did not have to mean hostility. He challenged ideas and invited conversation while treating others respectfully.

On the anniversary of his murder, we remember not only the life that was taken, but the work Charlie believed was worth doing. That work now belongs to the students willing to carry it forward.

Those students need people willing to encourage them.

That’s where you and NeW can make a difference. This semester, we hope you will join NeW in supporting young women who are speaking up, asking difficult questions, and working to build the kind of campus Charlie envisioned: one where ideas are freely exchanged, disagreement is welcomed, and students seek truth with conviction and kindness.

If you know a conservative woman on campus who would benefit from our community, we hope you’ll introduce her to NeW.

Thank you for being part of the NeW community.

All the best,

Vice President of Programs

NeW is excited to honor Mary Margaret Olohan, The Daily Wire’s first-ever White House correspondent, as our 2026 Empowered Woman of the Year. From reporting at the White House to authoring Detrans: True Stories of Escaping the Gender Ideology Cult, Olohan has built a career asking tough questions, pursuing stories others overlook, and standing firm in her convictions.

If you are in the DC area, we’d love to have you join us! NeW will honor Mary Margaret at our 22nd Anniversary Celebration on October 7 at Sonoma Restaurant & Wine Bar in Washington, DC. Come celebrate with members of the NeW community and hear from one of the conservative movement’s leading young journalists.
