THE PERMIT IS REAL. THE RIGHT IS NOT.
<[link removed]>

Friend,

After Bruen, Maryland had to start issuing carry permits. But instead of
honoring the Supreme Court's ruling, lawmakersfound another way to strip your
rights away.

Lawmakers passed a new law slapping "sensitive places" labels on buses, parks,
and restaurants — turning everyday spots into off-limits zones and making your
carry permit useless the second you back out of your driveway.

Here is where a lawfully permitted Marylander cannot carry:

Public transit

Any establishment that serves alcohol

State parks

Healthcare facilities
<[link removed]>

Museums
<[link removed]>

Stadiums

And MORE. That is the point. The list is designed to be long enough that the
permit becomes decorative.

The Second Amendment Foundation filed our reply brief with the United States
Supreme Courtin Novotny v. Moore.

The Supreme Court has been CLEAR that the Second Amendment protects the right
to carry for self-defense in ordinary everyday life.

There is nothing exceptional about riding a bus or walking through a park.
When Maryland was ordered to issue permits,it responded by making those permits
USELESS almost everywhere, and other states are already copying the blueprint.
Our brief asks the Court not to let that stand. We need to STOP it before it
spreads.Donate in the next 5 min to help fuel the fight!

Our final arguments are filed, and the countdown has begun. The Court could
agree to hear this case as early as next week. That launches us straight into
oral arguments — and we need to be fully resourced to hit the ground running.
