Wyoming Environmental Quality Council Notice of Intent to Adopt Rules
The Wyoming Environmental Quality Council will consider proposed revisions to the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Water Quality Rules, Chapter 1, Wyoming Surface Water Quality Standards, Docket 26-3101, at a hearing to be held on November 17, 2026, at 2300 Capitol Ave, Hathaway Building Room 127, Cheyenne, WY, 82002, starting at 9:00 a.m. (MST). The proposed revisions to Chapter 1 include: (1) an update to the reference date for the Wyoming Recreation Designated Uses Web Map in Section 28(a)(ii) (the updated Wyoming Recreation Designated Uses Web Map incorporates a recreational designated use change for a 2.5-mile segment of Upper Lander Creek in Sublette County from full body contact water recreation to limited body contact water recreation, as determined from the 2025 Upper Lander Creek Recreation Use Attainability Analysis); (2) a correction to a cross-reference in Section 10(g); and (3) an update to the numbering style throughout the chapter.
The chapter meets minimum substantive state statutory requirements per W.S. § 16-3-103(a)(i)(G).
