I am Omar Montgomery’s mom. I am so proud of my son. He is running to be our Mayor for our Aurora.

Omar is going to be Aurora’s Mayor and do amazing things. I have watched him do them every day of his life. He takes care of so many, including me. He works as a college professor and oversees programming where young people of color find a place to feel safe and part of the community. He mentors young men much like he was, young men of color, who are working hard and care about their communities.

We need your help. Omar will be the leader with a new vision for our Aurora. We need a mayor whose priorities truly represent us -- that is Omar. He will be the Mayor who prioritizes safe and empowering schools for all kids, who helps our immigrant communities, who will be a voice for working families.

We are just two days from our next fundraising deadline and our goal is 150 more donations.
