In the Schools
A child can't learn if they can't see the blackboard. Through our REACH (Refractive Error Among Children) program, Orbis and local partners screen students, provide treatment, and help children gain the healthy vision they need to learn, grow, and achieve their dreams.
In the Community
Your generosity helps train eye care workers to reach patients in their communities and provide basic but sight-saving eye care. It helps stand up local vision centers where people can receive screenings and treatments. And it trains local eye care professionals through Cybersight, Orbis's free, award-winning telemedicine and learning platform. By sharing expert knowledge and mentorship, we're helping doctors and nurses provide sight-saving care in their own communities for years to come.
In the Air
For more than four decades, the Flying Eye Hospital has brought world-class training directly to countries where it can have the greatest impact. This unique teaching hospital combines an operating room, classroom, and recovery area aboard one aircraft, helping local eye care teams gain skills that transform thousands of lives long after the plane has departed.
