It's James
Carville.
The primary is over. The match-up is set. And John Sununu and his
Republican allies are watching Chris Pappas’s campaign right now — looking
for any sign of weakness, any hesitation, any gap in resources they can
exploit.
I’ve been around long enough to know what happens next: If they see it,
they flood this state with money. If they don’t, they think twice.
What they see in the next few days matters tremendously.
[ [link removed] ]Rush a contribution to Chris Pappas right now. The general election has
started, and we cannot afford to blink first.
Let me be plain about the stakes. There is no path to winning back the
Senate majority without winning New Hampshire. None.
If Chris Pappas loses this seat, Democrats need to flip five seats instead
of four. That math doesn’t work.
John Sununu has more than $30 million in Republican outside spending
flooding into the state and more coming. He’s got the name, the money, and
the GOP machine that has decided New Hampshire is their best shot at the
Senate. They are not letting up for a single day.
Chris Pappas has won the toughest district in New Hampshire four damn
times. He knows how to reach voters across the aisle and win. But he
cannot — cannot — go into the general election flat-footed on resources
while Sununu’s allies are already flooding the airwaves.
So here’s what I need from you right now:
[ [link removed] ]Rush a contribution to Chris Pappas today. $10, $25, whatever you can
spare. Because the signal we send in the first few days of the general
election tells the GOP everything they need to know about whether we’re
ready for this fight.

I’ve seen races won and lost in moments exactly like this one. The
campaigns that respond to the start of a general election with strength go
on the offensive. The ones that hesitate get buried.
We are not hesitating.
[ [link removed] ]Give what you can right now. Let’s win this damn thing and flip
control of the Senate.
