The world has changed – the gospel has not.

African Enterprise Teams across the continent are working hard adapting to the opportunities and challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought. Home Based Evangelism (HBE) uses the technology that people have available to train and evangelise. Africa as a continent is more digitally connected than ever before. In South Africa alone there are over 100 million mobile phones.

To date, 2,590 church leaders, pastors, associates and mission volunteers have been trained in HBE all across Africa. Each one of these men and women are now not only equipped but motivated to reach out in ways they might not have previously imagined. Hundreds have already recorded their own personal testimonies and have shared them on social media.

Please join us in praying that these initiatives will reach those who might never come to a public rally, and excite Christians about the importance of witnessing to their neighbours.

• For the Zomba, Malawi Mission, 1 – 26 September 2020, which aims to reach 2000 households, and through them up to 20,000 people with the gospel.
• For the Makinde-Kampala, Uganda Mission, 18-25 September which aims to reach 500 households and through them up to 90,000 people with the gospel
• For the Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania Mission, 21 – 27 September 2020, aiming to reach 17,920 with the gospel – especially targeting leaders and youth.
• The Proclaim 2020 congress in Nairobi in December – a joint project of AE and the Lausanne Movement is going online rather than being cancelled. Please pray for the provision of the people and technology to make this happen.
