Earlier today a chilling report from Bob Woodward gave us insight into the depths of Donald Trump’s failure to protect our communities from the COVID-19 health crisis.
Though we already knew Trump’s negligence resulted in the loss of many more Black and brown, low-income lives, and the lives of our elders, it’s positively chilling to hear a recording of him talking about the severity of the virus as early as February this year.
February of this year — when we still had time to act to save hundreds of thousands of lives.
Friend, immigrants, undocumented people, and our communities, cannot survive another four years of Donald Trump. If re-elected, Trump will be emboldened in his anti-immigrant crusade against our people and would no doubt escalate his harm against us immediately.
We’re the largest youth-led movement of immigrants and undocumented people for immigrants and undocumented people, and it’s up to us to do everything we can to make sure Trump is removed from office.

Our fight did not start with Donald Trump and it certainly won’t end with him — but it’s clear that he, his administration, and his policies see our lives as expendable.
They do not value our lives and our people are in danger as long as they are in power.
