Friend, the news that this administration deliberately downplayed the dangers of the coronavirus is a bombshell—and those responsible need to be held accountable.
Mitch McConnell is at the center of the entire scandal—caught up in what appears to be a concerted effort to hide information from the American people.
We now know that senior officials received intelligence briefings about COVID-19 as early as January that made clear the threat the virus would pose to our health, our economy, and our institutions. It took nearly a month for Mitch to speak up—and when he did, on February 27, he told the country we had nothing to worry about, while expressing a bit of concern for his stock portfolio.
Six months later, 190,000 Americans are dead, millions have lost jobs, and our economy is in shambles—because leaders like Mitch played politics with a public health crisis.
It’s outrageous, and it’s disqualifying. Mitch must lose his job. Chip in today and let’s get it done:

This isn’t some momentary lapse of judgment. Mitch McConnell has spent decades attacking and cutting funding for the Centers for Disease Control, the very organization that serves as the first line of defense against a pandemic. He didn’t take this seriously, because he’s never taken it seriously.
When you look around at countries across the world that took swift action and saw less loss of life getting back to normal, with schools and restaurants reopening and sports events and concerts resuming, you wonder how our leaders could get this so wrong.
Leaders like Mitch McConnell chose not to level with the American people from the start. It’s no wonder that he’s proven to be incapable of tackling this crisis and helping us work our way out of it.
It’s time to elect public servants who serve the public, not themselves—people like Amy McGrath. Make a donation right now and let’s put an end to this cynical, ugly era of government:
