Just over a month ago, I was sworn in as Comptroller with one mission: to put Texans first.

I’m here to be a taxpayer champion and an alert watchdog for you.

In one month, we’ve launched performance reviews, exposed government waste and inefficiency, implemented a successful school choice program, and fought for meaningful property tax relief to make Texas more affordable.

It’s YOUR money. You deserve to know where it goes and a Comptroller who will ensure it isn’t wasted. 

I’m on the November ballot, and there is a lot more work to do. I’m going to keep fighting to protect your money, hold government accountable, and put Texas first.
