Iran launched a series of attacks yesterday against American troops, U.S. Navy ships, and commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missiles against an American military base in Jordan, in addition to targeting two more U.S. vessels and eight oil tankers in the Strait.
However, all of the attacks were successfully defended against, CENTCOM announced: "No U.S. Navy warship has been struck; all IRGC attempted attacks failed."
In response to Iran's continued aggression, CENTCOM has "successfully destroyed 10 Iranian tankers in just the last week. These vessels were part of a multibillion-dollar shadow network that funds the IRGC, and Iran cannot defend them."

Meanwhile, new satellite images show "a clear surge in construction activity" at Iran's Pickaxe Mountain nuclear facility.
The site, which is located near the Natanz nuclear facility, roughly 140 miles south of Tehran, is built beneath granite and was designed to be a safe haven for Iran's nuclear program.
Israeli intelligence has also suggested that the regime is seeking to move more centrifuges to the facility to continue its uranium enrichment.

Congress Must Carefully Review U.S.-Saudi Nuclear Agreement
In late August, the Trump administration submitted an agreement to Congress with Saudi Arabia to facilitate peaceful nuclear energy cooperation between the countries. President Donald Trump said that under the agreement there will be “no enrichment” of uranium in Saudi Arabia, the agreement would have the highest standards for inspections, and its implementation would be subject to the Kingdom joining the Abraham Accords.
Congress must carefully review the agreement and seek explanations from the administration on why the agreement fails to meet the standards set by the president and past 123 agreements with other nations. Without satisfactory explanations, Congress should reject this agreement.
Congress is currently in a 90-day review period for a U.S.-Saudi nuclear agreement.
The agreement fails to meet President Trump's standards of no enrichment, the highest standards of verification, and Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords, while leaving open a Saudi path to nuclear weapons.
TELL CONGRESS: Reject any agreement that fails to meet the president's standards.
Watchdog: U.N. sought to cover up UNRWA staff's role in Oct. 7 massacre, ties to Hamas
A U.S. investigation into an internal U.N. probe of UNRWA's ties to Hamas and the role its staff played in the October 7 massacre found that the U.N. sought to cover up UNRWA's links to the terror group.
The U.S. investigation, published in a December 2025 report, found that the U.N. "set an impossibly high standard to determine Oct. 7 participation and then used that benchmark to dismiss the allegations against UNRWA staffers with provable ties to Hamas's military operations," the Free Beacon reports.
"What's well known here in New York is that the U.N. OIOS' investigation was a complete cover-up," a Western diplomat briefed on the findings said. "They ignored the obvious, glaring linkages between UNRWA staff and Hamas. Their report gave the [U.N.] Secretary General cover to hide behind a so-called investigation and hope the world would move right along."
A State Department spokesperson added that UNRWA "has been totally infiltrated by Hamas and terrorist sympathizers. The Administration has determined UNRWA is irredeemably compromised and now seeks its full dismantlement."
