In June, we were down 6 points. In August, down 1. Today, a brand-new Univision poll has this race TIED. 47-47.
This is the moment we’ve been working toward. It's the first poll of this campaign to show us dead even with Greg Abbott. But it's not the first to show us within striking distance. Seven other polls in the last month have had this race statistically tied. Four of those had us within a single point.
