The culture is arguing over the Lindsay Clancy case, over life and death and justice. It's clear that America isn't suffering from a shortage of opinions; it's suffering from a shortage of truth. In this episode, I walk through what happens when the church gets comfortable proclaiming Jesus only in the spaces we control — from the famine of the word in our land, to the toll abortion takes on the women sitting in our congregations, to watching other movements and religions boldly claim the public square while Christians retreat. I share why Let Us Worship was born in 2020 and why the streets are our lane. And we just saw it again at Mt. Rushmore. A packed amphitheater under the silhouettes of four presidents, worshipers who'd driven hours to be there, and a holy rumble rising out of the Black Hills. That's what happens when the church goes outside. Darkness didn't suddenly become powerful. The light retreated. America doesn't need a quieter church — it needs a bolder one. The church has left the building, and we're not going back inside. |
