This week, Families USA celebrated Labor day by recognizing nurses, doctors, health care workers, and advocates across the country. As we strive to Rise Up, Reclaim, and Reimagine our health care system, we want to honor state and national Advocates for their achievements in advancing health care affordability, coverage, health justice and equity, consumer experience, along with outstanding early career advocates and others for lifetime achievement. Please submit your nominations for our annual Advocate of the Year Awards here by Friday, October 23.
The 2027 Health Action Conference is an opportunity for the health advocacy community to gather together and collaborate on strategy for the new Congress, and the new year.

HAC Scholarship Applications Close Tomorrow
Families USA believes diverse voices are essential to improving health care. To help remove financial barriers, we offer a limited number of need-based scholarships to cover conference registration fees. Recipients will receive one complimentary full registration for the Health Action Conference 2027.
Apply here by 11:59 pm ET, tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, 2026. Recipients will be notified by September 22, 2026.
