Friends, I have some exciting news to share: I'm running to be Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus.

If we win back the majority in November — and I believe we will, thanks to the incredible enthusiasm and hard work of millions of grassroots Democrats across the country — the job of actually governing starts immediately , and we have some big tasks ahead. And I want to be in a position to help shape how Democratic leadership shows up for that moment.

It will be crucial for Democrats to be bold, united, responsive, and forward-looking, and to do that, we’ll need party leadership ready to roll up our sleeves, listen to feedback, and be proactive about solutions.

I'm proud of the work I've been doing to get there: this cycle alone, I've raised nearly $5 million for Democratic candidates and causes to help us take back the House, I've been traveling the country campaigning for our frontliners and Red to Blue candidates every chance I get, and that’s what I’ll keep doing over the next 55 days.

Winning elections and then governing well — that's the whole ballgame. And I'm ready for it.
