Hi John, I
know you get a lot of emails from my team and me. That’s why, today, I
wanted to step back and tell you a little bit less about fundraising
deadlines and a little bit more about me and why I’m running to be the
next Governor of Michigan.
I’m a Secretary of State with proven experience in fixing broken systems.
I’ve slashed wait times, created self-service stations to save
Michiganders time, and made Michigan’s elections the most secure and
accessible in the nation.
When we win this election, I will use every tool available to make life
easier: expand rural healthcare options, build more housing, take on the
utility companies that hike up our rates, make childcare free, and ensure
anyone can afford to live in the best place to call home.
I’m a mom who will fight to lower costs and raise wages.
As a mom, I know there’s nothing more important than making sure our kids
have every chance to succeed.
As Governor, I’ll fight to make Michigan the best place to raise a kid,
and be a kid. And I won’t hesitate to take on anyone — no matter how
powerful — who gets in the way of that mission.
I’m running a campaign powered by people, not billionaires and shady super
PACs.
Because I believe the kind of leadership Michigan deserves can only be
elected by creating a grassroots movement.
