Here's the truth:
Turn on the television or get on the internet in Nevada and you'll likely see Democrat Aaron Ford getting absolutely hammered with negative ads -- much of it from Trump-backed outside spending groups.
So Aaron has some difficult decisions to make -- does he spend money he doesn't currently have in the budget to fight back or does he wait and risk falling behind?
By spending now, the bet he's making is that people who want to see Democrats win everywhere will have his back to fill the gap.
And the good news is, your donation will have a 2x or 3x impact if you give today. That's because the outside spending groups have to pay a higher rate for ads than the candidates themselves.
So Aaron Ford doesn't have to match the billionaires spending to beat him because his donations go 3x as far.
