Introducing...5 Minute Midterms!

November is right around the corner and you know what that means…it’s time to get midterm-ready!

Now before you curl up in a ball, let’s make one thing clear: we know that not everyone has the time to phone bank or knock doors or even unload the dishwasher!

That’s why we designed the 5 Minute Midterms plan for the busy voter! Our goal is simply to ensure that your vote is counted. So if you’ve got ~5 minutes a week, we can give you some peace of mind that your ballot won’t get rejected due to small preventable errors or larger systemic attempts at sabotage.

Here’s how it’ll work:

• Every week, we’ll unveil a new easy-to complete action on our website that will protect you and your ballot this election cycle. Once you’ve completed your weekly task, you’ll unlock shareable achievement graphics that you can download and post on social media. Just a little brag to inspire and encourage your friends to protect their votes, too.

• Tag us @5calls and use the hashtag #5minutemidterms when you post for a chance to WIN PRIZES!

• There will also be weekly "Extra Credit" actions for the overachievers. (We see you.)

Why does any of this matter?

You may have noticed that certain government officials are obsessed with blocking eligible Americans from voting. And that is because your vote matters. So the #1 thing you can do leading up to November 3rd is protect your vote! And that can mean taking just a few extra minutes to ensure that (1) you don’t get turned away at the polls or (2) get your ballot tossed out due to some technicality or election shenanigans. And remember, “blue” states are not immune to shenanigans.
